To all the UYS’e out there – I have managed to secure the UYS.name domain name. This new domain name ( Dot Name or .Name Domain ) as you can imagine will uniquely identify individuals – Just like the .co.za and the com.au are there to uniquely identify the country the web site is hosted in.
I have registered the domain for a period of 5 years.
So what can we do with it you ask …
As a service to other UYS’e out there I can offer you a email address such as Neil@UYS.name that I will forward to any other mail account you might have ( such as Gmail, hotmail, yahoo or even your work email )
The benefits are huge – As cload computing becomes more and more part of our daily lives a utility based approach to computing shows practical and functional benefits.
Example – if you have a Gmail email account and wish to change to something else, the choice to change and the ease at which you will be able to do it will become easier and easier. So you have a unique personal identity such as YourName@YourSurname.Name that stays with you for life and it then simply routes your mail to your current email host of choice.

In return I want to use your information to build on the current online UYS register database to try and capture as much as possible information about all the UYS’e out there and how we are related.

Hee-uge congratulations from Phoenix, AZ (I am visiting my brother) and London (where Fiona continues to earn the dough!). Seriously incredible news. We are ssssooooo happy to hear that the wee man has arrived and that mum and baby are safe and sound.
We are really looking forward to meeting the wee chap in person when we see you in 2009. Make sure that he knows that the drinking lessons start in 2022. He should also know that I am his favourite Scottish uncle and that Frysie is an imposter!
