Don’t ask why – We just always wanted to visit Shanghai. The thing that surprised me most was the people. Totally against everything I was told in my life these guys are actually pretty happy to live in a communist country and very proud. The city is massive and sports a total of 20 mil. people – growing by 3 mil every year. Modern, in Chinese terms, and from a Western perspective if you look at what they have done to overcome their resource issues.
